As a 6th grader at Morris Middle it’s alright most off the teachers are okay could be better though. There are so many little miss Morris accounts. The hallways are SO crowded on the way to 3rd period it’s like people can’t walk. Mr. Fox will randomly get in a classroom and give you a 15 minute “lecture” on why you should stay in school it’s really boring. But every time he gives us a “lecture” it always includes black people there’s nothing wrong about that but once Mr. Fox said “black people pull their pants down and walk like that and white people called it saggin and what’s saggin backwards?” He also had a water bottle and he said “this is a black owned water company you can’t find it in stores you have to order it online” but I mean water is water. People are SO disrespectful to Ms. Knowles but I think she’s a nice teacher she just talks to much. This one girl she told Ms.Knowles to “shut up.” She acts out during 6th period but during 5th period she’s all shy like really. So many boys think that they’re “him” when they’re really not. Mr. Minor the band teacher he’s funny sometimes he once asked someone if he eats burgers and then Mr. Minor said “you look like you eat other stuff and not just burgers” but I’m guessing no one caught that but me. 2nd period band is WAY better than 3rd period band and no one can change my mind. I’m going to give my honest opinion about the 6th grade teachers.
Ms. Stoddard(math teacher) I swear she always has an attitude and I always have no idea what to do in her class.
Ms. Knowles(reading teacher) she’s nice and like I said she just talks to much I actually know what to do in her class and it goes by pretty fast she once lost her voice and she said “it hurts to talk”but she kept talking like make it make sense.
Mr. Hale (ELA teacher) who no longer teaches at Morris he was an amazing teacher his classroom was my safe space and he really understood his students I miss him.
Ms. Carlton(Social Studies teacher) she’s never at school because she has some health issues but she’s a nice and chill teacher I remember she would tap her forehead with her finger when she had a headache and now I do that.
Ms. Campbell ( Science teacher) she’s a nice chill and funny teacher I like her class because we barely do anything.
Ms. Makepson(ELA teacher) although I prefer Mr.Mr Hale she’s alright she sometimes talks to much
I guess you could say that she’s a chill teacher.
I’ll update when I’m in 7th grade.
Wonderful school with great teachers! Staff very polite and professional. Teachers are very involved. My children learn so much. We love being apart of the Eagles. My only complaint is that I wish they would send out proper notifications in a timely manner. For example, if picture day is on the 12th, please inform parents at least a week in advance if not sooner! Other than that, I highly recommend this school.
Going to Columbia High School in 2 months, I’m going to miss Mr. Minor because he is no longer a band director anymore. Wish he was still in Morris middle school.
