Disappointing Experience at Mount Druitt Public School
I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with Mount Druitt Public School. As a parent, I had high hopes for the education and environment this school would provide for my child, but our experience has been far from satisfactory.

Firstly, the quality of teaching leaves much to be desired. Many of the teachers seem disengaged and unmotivated, often failing to provide the necessary support and attention to the students. My child has struggled with several subjects, and despite numerous requests for additional help, the response from the staff has been minimal. There is a clear lack of effective teaching methods and individualized attention, which is crucial for student development.

Moreover, the school’s facilities are in poor condition. Classrooms are outdated, with inadequate resources and materials. The playgrounds and sports areas are poorly maintained, posing safety hazards for the children. It is evident that the infrastructure is not given the necessary attention, which significantly impacts the overall learning environment.

Communication between the school and parents is another major issue. Important updates and information are often poorly conveyed or completely missed. There is a lack of transparency in how the school handles various situations, and it feels like parents are left in the dark far too often. This lack of communication fosters a sense of distrust and frustration among parents.

Additionally, the school seems to lack a strong disciplinary framework. Instances of bullying and disruptive behavior are not adequately addressed, leaving students feeling unsafe and unsupported. My child has encountered several incidents where appropriate action was not taken, further diminishing our confidence in the school’s ability to provide a secure learning environment.

Lastly, the overall atmosphere of the school is far from welcoming. There is a noticeable lack of community spirit and enthusiasm. Events and activities that are meant to engage students and parents are poorly organized and lack participation. It feels like the school is just going through the motions without genuinely striving to create a positive and inspiring educational experience.

In conclusion, Mount Druitt Public School has been a significant let down. The combination of poor teaching quality, inadequate facilities, ineffective communication, weak disciplinary measures, and a lacklustre atmosphere has left us deeply dissatisfied. I would not recommend this school to any parent who is looking for a nurturing and effective educational environment for their child.

I attended this public school, and frankly, it’s a disaster. The facilities are run-down, the teachers seem disinterested, and the curriculum is outdated. There’s no sense of community or support for students. The administration is unresponsive to concerns, and there’s a pervasive lack of discipline among the students. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your child’s education.
The previous School Principal Mr Kelly was not a
good principal at all, this school would have been much more if they dismissed Mr Kelly sooner, glad the school has a new school principal now.
I have sent two of my children here across the span of 10 years. The teachers are fantastic. The deputy and principal are also amazing. Even the crossing guards are lovely. The one star is for the horrible office lady’s. From bad mouthing a mother due to her mental health in front of other parents to being rude to the point of surly. The attitude needs to be fixed. These women are the first point of call for people dealing with your school and I have to say they do a very poor job at representing your school and the values that this school instills in its students.
My two kids, 9 and 7 r admitted here since last two years. I thinks management is reasonably fair. Teachers are well educated and we’ll trained and do their best to groom students but still their is a fair amount of improvement required on part of parents to sync students learning n behavior off school. Have noticed some degree of abuse and bullying in students but teachers n management are also noticed taking it seriously, which is good.
