Reading reviews! I would not recommend this school to anyone! My son was bullied for three weeks 3rd grade miss Anya. The school did zero to protect my son. Bleesy lips . Bruises everyday .Turns out the bully mom was the kindergarten teacher. I even ask Anya to move said bully chair who was next to my son he continued to kick my sons desk .nope.. then my son after three weeks of being harassed. Started to act out thinking this was acceptable Behavior. A request with the board and teacher was ignored. They told me my son was the problem and he needed to go to a shorter schedule. They filed rank and protected there teacher. I strongly recommend you don’t enroll your child here they don’t even have enough child education to handle a 8 year old. He’s been in a new school two weeks and thriving
My daughters attended Mountain Oak, and now my granddaughter attends. I am so thankful that we have a Waldorf-inspired free charter school in Prescott. This is a small school with a beautiful curriculum that is very well rounded. It encourages growth of responsible individuals who support one another. The lessons include an appreciation and understanding of culture and environment. It is rich in academic subjects, physical movement and the arts. There is a lot of hands-on and experiential work, incorporating mind and body. I highly recommend a tour.
I have two girls attending Mountain Oak School and they are doing very well there. They absolutely love the teachers. It’s fun to see them run from the car in the morning to get to class.
