As a totally over the top helicopter mom, i did extensive research prior to enrolling my oldest at Mudpies and Lullabies Preschool 5 years ago. My oldest attended for 3 blissful years, and my youngest will graduate from this sweet preschool tomorrow (his second year there). Our family has had the BEST experience at Mudpies, and it’s hard to even fathom the reality that we won’t have kids there anymore. Mrs Anne, the director, has decades of teaching experience, yet somehow has the same energy and enthusiasm as if she’s in her first year. She finds such JOY in the children, and though I do hope she takes a less active role in the classrooms someday (she deserves a break!!), she is the BEST teacher and the kids have so much fun, whilst also learning a ridiculous amount, preparing them for Kinder. Mrs. Karen is another long-time teacher at Mudpies and taught both of my boys. My oldest created a kindness barometer after being in the loving care of Mrs Karen for a few years — and she is at the tip top. Nobody can or will ever come close to competing with Mrs Karen’s level of kindness, it’s a fact; she’s an angel on earth and loves every single child like they’re her own, nurturing them and encouraging them and helping each one grow.
Ms. Katherine is another teacher who is equally heaven-sent, and ADORES the kids, and also helps come up with the most fun projects for them to work on. I can’t even believe the things my boys have brought home over the years: the love and attention that goes into developing, creating, designing and preparing for everything the children work on is a labor of love and it certainly doesn’t go un-noticed!
I could go on and on and on about the wonderment that is Mudpies and Lullabies, and because they allow parents to volunteer in the classrooms, I’ve spent MANY a day alongside the teachers, and I can say with the utmost confidence: this is the greatest preschool there ever was.

Mudpies and Lullabies has been such a special place for our family over the past few years. As a teacher myself, I knew exactly what I was looking for in a preschool and when I met Anne I knew I had found it. Then when our oldest started with Karen I was so excited for her and knew she was in the best hands possible. When schools were shut down due to the pandemic and then reopened, I wasn’t quite ready to send our daughter back. Anne held our spot at the preschool until we were ready and I was so thankful to know that I was now sending both of our kids to the best place for them to learn and succeed. My youngest is getting ready to graduate and head to kindergarten and I can’t adequately describe how I’m feeling in a review other than thankful and grateful for all of the teachers and the education and fun learning experiences they provided for our girls. I’m so thankful they both have their wonderful memory books for us to cherish in the years to come.

Mudpies and Lullabies has been such a wonderful school for our family. I have had two children go through Mudpies so far and every teacher we have come across is caring, nurturing, fun and creative! All of the teachers genuinely care about the students and help make their preschool experience a fun and safe place that they look forward to going back to. Enrolling my oldest son in the Kindergarten Foundations class was one of the best parenting decisions I have made! He walked away from that class fully prepared for kindergarten and with such a love for school. My other son is in Mrs. Karen and Ms. Katherine’s preschool class and they are the sweetest, most patient and loving teachers I think you will ever come across!! Mrs. Anne has done such a wonderful job with the school and retaining incredible teachers. Mudpies is like being part of a little family and I feel so fortunate that our family can be a part of it!!
