We have had 13 years of experience at MGCS and have loved it! We have three daughters and our oldest, who is now a senior started Kindergarten at Myrtle Grove. We were so pleased with her teachers, the learning environment and the Christian emphasis. Our girls have thrived athletically and academically, while being encouraged and challenged to give their best. My two oldest daughters are now in public high school and have adjusted quite well. They both have been well prepared for the challenges of honors and advanced placement courses. Also, they are eager to be leaders in their peer groups while encouraging others. Our youngest is in the middle school at MGCS. We have so appreciated her teachers involvement in her life. She loves her friends and the family feel of the school. It has not always been an easy decision to reenroll three girls in private school. Each year we have prayed over the choice. Although it has been a sacrifice, it has been the best investment we have given to our daughters.
My children have attended MGCS since they were 3. They are currently in 4th and 6th grade. They have received an exceptional education framed by biblical truth in a safe, loving environment. Teachers have demonstrated a deep concern for them, their education, and their spiritual welfare. This year, my 6th grader struggled with Math. Mrs. Sampson worked one on one with her before and after school to review tests, homework, and classwork. My student will go on to 7th grade with a solid foundation in Math and loads of confidence. My husband and I are so thankful to partner with MGCS on our parenting journey. We drop our kids off each morning with complete confidence in the care they receive at school.
Both of my children have gone to MGCS since Kindergarten, I now have a 7th grader there and an 11th grader. They both have grown spiritually and thrived in this environment. My child that is now in high school was abundantly prepared and has soared through AP and honors classes as well as athletics. MGCS definitely produced a well-rounded child. I would like to add that I have one child with a 504 plan and one that had attention issues. These were NEVER a problem and the staff and administration have BOTH bent over backwards to accommodate us. Thank you for your love and attention and for going the extra mile for both of my children, it has made all the difference.
