During my pregnancy, I spent a lot of time interviewing and researching learning centers, in-home daycares, and nannies. My husband and I are first-time parents with ambitious careers, and we needed a secure, loving place to send our daughter while we work. Nanda Learning Center – Manassas has exceeded our expectations!

Mohamad, the Director of all centers, has created a loving, intentional environment for our daughter to grow and learn. All the teachers and staff (Ms. Kelsie) are warm and so attentive to the needs of the children. Often times, the teachers are a “second set of eyes” for us as parents. Throughout the day, our daughter’s teachers send thoughtful updates and pictures. The creative curriculum allows our infant daughter to explore through play and experiment with objects and activities. No two days are the same and there is zero screen time for the infants! There is a heavy emphasis on cultural diversity! The staff and children are racially diverse much like the city of Manassas. We were particularly impressed with a big, multicultural festival last fall which featured cultural exhibits and foods (lamb – yum!) from around the world. Nanda puts health and safety first as there are strict check-in/check-out procedures, regular practice fire drills, handwashing, and constant wiping down/cleaning of toys/equipment.

My husband and I feel a genuine connection to the staff and its mission. It takes a village to raise a child, and we’re so grateful that Nanda is a part of our village!

We were new to the area when I enrolled my daughter and newborn son in Nanda Learning Center. Being a new mom of two, this daycare has been one of the best parts of the area! The teachers are fantastic and send updates all day long with pictures through their app, which is so nice. They also really care, which is shown in their thoughtful planning of class/student projects/events/activities and their communicativeness regarding anything related to your child. My kids love going to daycare every day which is a direct result of how great this daycare is! The administrative staff and new Center Director (Ms. Nirupa/Ms. Kelsey) are great to work with and really make me, as a parent, reassured my kids are in excellent hands and very well taken care of. We love Nanda!
