The truant officer Myrna was very discouraging and also she manipulated my son and caused discomfort for him. Myrna advised me to give custody to my kid’s father, me and the dad have domestic violence together. Myrna took upon herself to speak to my son alone without permission and asked if he would like to live with his father. I’m not sure if a Truant officer is illegally certified to give family Court service advice, but I was very disappointed. I confronted Myrna and she didn’t admitted and called a ten yr old boy a liar , which my son. She will continue to be the Truant officer for the district and I hope she doesn’t do this again to any other parent or child.
So patient and helpful! They answered and took time to explain anything I didn’t understand. Went in twice and was helped by two different people and was happy leaving both times.
