I understand this is a school. I knew that when I walked in. However, I thought that the teachers/instructors were to be checking on the students to ensure “quality”. I sat in the chair for almost an hour trying to figure what this guy was doing to my head. Not gonna name names. It was a very unusual haircut experience. He kept turning the power off and on repeatedly on his trimmers and seemed to be “hen picking” at my head which is why I say it was a very unusual haircut. No one in the past has used their clippers like this on me, and Im 52, Ive had a few haircuts over the past 5 decades. At the end he let me have the handheld mirror, and based on what I saw I was ready to leave. I dont know what this guy did, but he didnt cut my hair. He just pecked at it for almost an hour. There was barely any hair missing PLUS it was horrifically uneven everywhere. I had to go to an actual barber to get it fixed, whom out of courtesy didnt charge me. The barber at that shop was in complete agreement with me on the botchery that had just taken place at NeeCee’s. You need to make you are watching your students. Im not upset with the student, Im upset with the “instructors”.
My wife went to get braids a week ago, for $145. After a few days, hair started to unravel and roots were loose. She always goes here. But every time it’s a different problem. Either different prices than were originally offered or unsatisfied service. Neecee the instructor did her braids, along with help from a student. But the braids look like a kindergarten did them. Spoke to Neecee she was very unprofessional and didn’t understand my wife’s frustration. For $145, this was a waste of time and money. Lastly, neecee’s attitude, I wouldn’t recommend.
I asked for a permanent part disnt get one. Asked to have a certain guard used he did t use it when I asked for him to male the sides a little shorter he picked up the same clippers with the exact same guard on it and went over my hair again. It was the heavy set dude in the first chair. I know some people are happy because it’s a 5 dollar hair cut but when you have to go get it fixed somewhere else it ends up being wat more. Dont bother going here just spend the money to get somebody with a actual license who has cut some hair before.
