Back in my day all 150 of us used to live in a shoebox in the middle of the road and every morning we had to clean out shoebox, eat a lump of cold gravel, and lick the road clean for breakfast. Then go and work 29 hours a day in the mill for 6 pence a lifetime. And every night we would come home and Dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt. And you telling the children of today that and they laugh at you.
