I am a Junior attending NSHS this year and I can honestly say that this is the first year of my high school life that I have actually learned things that I will be able to take with me in my future. I’ve learn things like how to make a resume to apply for jobs, how to earn scholarships, and how to manage a college life. I can say that this school is not for everyone. If you don’t care about school or your grades this is definitely NOT the school for you but if you do care, you’ll do amazing and I mean really, who wouldn’t want to take COLLEGE COURSES for FREE. My down fall with this school is that I don’t have much social time because I only go to school twice a week but they have lots of social activities you can go to and I’ve been able to make a few good friends. The other thing that I am not super fund of is the teacher to student interaction. The administration at my campus has not always been the nicest to me and I have left some of my meetings with Ms. Berry crying. On the other hand, Mrs. White is very nice and interacts with the students and takes the time to get to know you. Of course, there are ups and downs to all high schools, over all I thing this is a pretty good school.
In all Honesty this is a great school to attend to. If you’re a student who interested in college and don’t know where to begin and where to start Nevada State High School is the school to go to .With all the the recourse that the school provide including the staff and tutor the school is going guide a student to success. I have been here for two years of my life. From the begging it will be difficult not going to lie. The teachers are always the to support you from begging to end. You can make the choice in your life and attend college early. The most important qualities you must have in order to sail smoothly is to have, Motivation to do college. Have self Reliance and finally focus on your self personally. In conclusion this school has helped me through thick and thin and one maybe you can experience the school yourself.
This school is amazing! The staff members are very friendly and very helpful. I was able to take college classes early and the colleges were amazing as well. I definitely recommend going to this school if you know what you want to be; if you already have a career in mind, they will help get you there.
