This school truly cares and wants you to succeed. I had a hard time staying here n school after my high school drop out. They believed in me, they motivated me, provided assistance with all types of things, and gave me the tools to succeed. Now Im in college and its all thanks to them. Highly recommend. Please please please respect the teachers and the staff. They will always be there for you. I consider them my friends for life. Show them the kindness they deserve even if its for selfish reasons. Thank you NLAE. I wouldnt have a future if not for you. And shout out to Ms. McConnell the counselor, administrator, all in one boss lady, to Mr.C!!! My English teachers whos name I forgot, the jewelry teacher, and everyone of my teachers whose name I forgot. Love you all forever. Thank you for finding a way to keep the graduation spirit alive during the rise of COVID. That means the world to me.
Unfortunately I signed up for 2 classes in August did not receive a confirmation on either one and the first one came and went. I could not log into that class because I didn’t have any connectivity information. I called them back and they said to look for an email from this certain person which happened to go to my spam because I had no idea I needed to look for that. The 2nd class was in person so I drove out here from Mystic to New London and sat in the empty classroom for 5 minutes before the guy told me that it probably wasn’t going to happen. So needless to say I don’t expect to sign up for another class with this organization.
New adult & continuing education is the best place to improve you skills for getting better job placement ,you want to get a good job but you are facing obstacles of language they will teach you and provide English classes without spend a penny.
Multiple courses are available there like CNN, citizenship classes,Automotive course.
GED is also available for students.
Very Experienced and friendly teachers.
Positive and motivated environment for all age groups.
