Easily the best decision I could have made for my son. I couldn’t be happier with this childcare and preschool. I toured EVERY daycare and preschool within a 15 mile radius for an entire year. New Song Academy was a newer operation at the time of my initial tour and they had only been open for two or three years. So, I was a little nervous at first.

However, two years later after returning from work from the pandemic shut down, the director, Susan still remembered me and my son. She is always very responsive and kind. She and all of the teachers are passionate about what they do and offer a loving and enriching environment for the children. All of the teachers are experienced and educated childcare professionals.

They post a reliable food menu along with a new curriculum every month that they ACTUALLY follow. Some places don’t always follow through with what they say they do. This place does!

The classrooms are clean and organized with a wide variety of books and toys to choose from. They provide a structured schedule which gives the kids comfort. The teachers are very much in charge of the classroom without yelling or scolding. I have yet to witness an out of control environment no matter what time I show up. No running around screaming and crying kids in the corner here. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure it happens but I haven’t seen it.

They have a fenced outdoor playground with age appropriate play equipment. Sectioned for different age groups. Even a covered outdoor play area. The kids go outside every day. The teachers watch them closely as they play.

They offer healthy food options from a variety of cultures. My son was an extremely picky eater before he started here and now he will try just about anything.

We have a true community among the other families and because they are a Christian based school, we even got to see a Christmas performance this year! They encourage the parents to volunteer to deepen that sense of community. I find this transparency very reassuring.

They are focused on academics and getting the kids kindergarten ready. My son loves this school, his friends and all of his teachers!

This is my second child, so we have experienced both high quality childcare (with a high tuition rate) and a daycare that made big promises but fell short in almost every way. New Song is better than I could have ever imagined and their tuition rates are realistic.
If you have been searching for quality childcare for an affordable price, this is it. I couldn’t be happier with my choice and would recommend this school to anyone.

The best daycare ever.
First of all, it’s Christian based. You’re child will flourish here because they will be instilled with morals and values most schools (unfortunately) lack, because they took God out of them. True love is telling the truth, even if offends you. Because conviction leads to growth and learning. And Jesus said the truth sets you free. The teachers are amazing…they truly love the children and prioritize them at a level most other daycares fall short on. My son has a speech/food therapist who visits him there and she has nothing but good things to say as well! She mentioned how engaged the teachers are with each child. That is precious. There’s no TV, everything is screen free. Each class has their own playground to match the child’s age. The classes are separated so specifically (like infant, waddler, toddler, etc) that it’s perfect for children to be with peers at their level. The only times that they are randomly together is early in the morning (7-8:15am) or after 5pm. They do all kinds of things with the children, painting, music (a music teacher comes Wed), they learn songs, they have all kinds of activities they do in the classroom. The teachers share pictures and videos with you on the Brightwheel app so you also get to see what’s going on. It’s amazing. I just love how God led me to this daycare and how this daycare is even available… especially in this day and age. And in WA, which is very progressive .You all know the times we’re living in….Jesus is right around the corner from coming back. And He would be proud of this daycare and what they’re doing for children and parents alike. I highly recommend this daycare!

My child has blossomed under their tutelage & guidance. As a Speech Language Pathologist, in Early Intervention I sought an environment that was intimate, explorative and nurturing. I found all of this and more at New Song Academy.

I’m a staunch advocate for online learning due to global health concerns. However, their are critical social interactions for younger developing minds that cannot be replicated. Especially those who have not had the prior exposure in a
nursery/school environment. Sharing. Conversational turn taking. 1-2-3 step directions. Social cues and norms. Structured in classroom and unstructured playground play.

New Song has created a culture that promotes the frequency/quality of peer to peer learning opportunities during these trying times.

Outside of their strong academic focus they have gone above and beyond to pivot. Their daily child health screening protocol with thermometer checks and social distance guidelines are age appropriate for young learners to grasp. The TLC each individual takes with your child either at drop off or pick up has normalized the experience for parents as they’ve done the children. My child was enrolled at the beginning of the Fall semester and my youngest will join in the Spring but I couldn’t be happier with their attention to detail to each child, communication to parents via call or their app and community safeguards adopted by the administration at New Song Academy.

They’ve continually executed the above mentioned and more. When your child smiles every day and their peers are smiling too. You know you’ve made the right choice.
