There are no words to describe how amazing Ms. Walcott and the New York Medical Coding Academy are. Ms. Walcott has the biggest heart and is there to make sure we learn the material and pass the CPC test. Her great knowledge and methodology to teach the classes means that students can understand the content of the subject in a definitive way. She has a unique strategy for students to solve all doubts before taking the exam. There is no other place where you receive training and love as you do …with Ms. Walcott She is definitely very professional in her work and knows what she is doing; there is no other teacher to teach you the material as she does. She is seriously an angel sent by God and has been called to teach. Ms. Walcott will change your life not only for your professional career, but you will have a better perspective of life and to want to be a better person. She has impacted so much my life and Im so thankful to have met her that is why I highly recommend all those who are interested in learning to take her classes.
I am a proud graduate of New York Medical Coding Academy and officially licensed Certified Professional Coder. I started the program in July 2022, I finished my courses in November and passed the test in December. I definitely could not have chosen a better school, Ms. Gloria assisted on a weekly basis with 1 on 1 instruction, making sure I understood everything. And Ms. Myrtle was available for additional studies, test prep and lots of encouragement. Started my a medical coding journey Jan 2021.Ms. Walcott was very helpful setting me up in order to start the program. My instructor Gloria Valencia -Terra was great to work with always available on short notice to discuss a chapter, review difficult questions and keep me encouraged whenever I was struggling. Took me quite some time to complete my course I finished in February 2022. Took and passed my cpc exam March 2022. Couldnt be more grateful for the journey I had during the past 14 months. I would definitely recommended this training program to anyone whos considering a career in medical coding.
