Our experience was exceptional. The school’s teachers and staff are very supportive, focused on character and academic development. Communication with parents is excellent. Grateful for all of the happy moments our son had there.
Lack of communication regarding student academic decline astonishes me. I’m very disappointed in the way in which my child has been often used for their benefit and then not been given the support they deserve. High potential students left to flounder and nose dive with absolutely no communication from the school to parents. Not happy at all. If you have a thriving worldly inquisitive and intelligent child do not enrol them here. Seek a Catholic/Anglican alternative. I’m deeply saddened by being let down by the school and teachers in my community in which my family is established.
I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the school, whether its the students or the teachers, whether they were good or bad, it doesn’t matter. The end justifies the means. Thanks for the days of 50 cent zooper doopers and handball with my mates, thanks for the days of tips on the oval and our scheduled equipment days. I remember when the school had those modular classrooms that we lost all our handballs under. I remember all those times we went on stage with the masking tape criss crossing the wooden floorboards. I remember the day that I went up on the stage to receive my awards. I remember that day when I failed to spell “omission” in the spelling bee. Ended up spelling it with a double m, but oh well. Its been a couple of years since I left the school now, and I’m currently at the number 1 high school in the state, which sounds weird. But thats the truth. My name is on the list of duxes in the hall, which also sounds weird. But thats the truth. Ms Kogias was a great teacher, although we didn’t always get along. Mr Fifield was a great teacher, although I was a bit mischievous when I was in his care. Sorry Mr Fifeld. Sorry for running in the walkways and talking in class and playing coolmathgames during genius hour. Although, I assume that these things don’t exist at the school anymore, and I assume that Ms Kogias and Mr Fifield have probably already taken their leave. Now there are a lot more teachers that I’ve met in my time here, but I can’t remember them all. On the small chance that some people at this school still remember me, I hope the you all the best.
from the 2019 dux, thank you.
great school, i made a lot of really good friends here that i still talk to (class of 2021). my year 5 teacher helped me grow a lot, i highly recommend this school.
Minimal communication from the school and teachers. You never really know what’s going on in the class. The high archieving students are not a reflection of the school every child succeeding there has extensive tutoring to fill the gaps of the education. They are not welcoming to families wanting to get involved with the school.
