I wanted my son to attend this corporation big money making company because I had read and heard they were strict which to me that’s the best schools to get your child enrolled in, but I guess cuz of my Hispanic name they been given me the run around, and today I got a call that said that if parents took their child to their informational fair with all the paperwork their child will be enrolled on the spot and would automatically be given any openings on the grades available, plus when I called to speak to the female who’s in charge she lied saying that they hadn’t received my son’s paperwork which that’s also a lie because I had previously called not once not twice not even three times but around 5 times and to the different people that I spoke to they told me it was just a matter of waiting because they were backed up with paperwork but they had all they needed from me and that they would let me know I also asked if they had openings and they did and still do and I found out that other people have been given spots, guess what people but my son who’s an excellent young boy very well behaved with good grades but he doesn’t have an American name has not been chosen what excuse do they have not to accept my son this woman by the name of Megan says she doesn’t know me you don’t have to know anyone to be racist because ignorance is a big word and people even just by the name think they know people well I’ll tell you what Meghan you are rude and don’t have a doubt your racist and a liar because I have proof that I took my son’s paperwork in person and I can tell you chosen certain type of people more than others because that’s what you want give me a good reason not an excuse why my son has not been accepted. Don’t you think is odd that most people that have negative reviews about this corporation are Hispanic and black, most likely because they’re not treated equally.
I’m so disappointed with this school. You truly will be treated better in a public school. Anyone considering sending your kindergartener here next year, please don’t. Especially not if you want to have fond memories and pictures of walking them into their classroom on their first day, because the school won’t allow it.
They restrict the young kids ability to express themselves too severely. There are no character back packs or lunch bags allowed-which my sons teacher quickly lost his “school appropriate” backpack on the first day and still has not found it. They specify every piece of clothing they can wear, all the way down to the color and style of their socks. On Spirit Friday, in order to participate, the child must pay $1 each time. While that may not seem like a big deal, I feel like it will single out the less affluent children. You even have to purchase a specified coat for them to wear to school when it’s cold.
They even did a bait and switch. I toured their fielder campus when I signed my son up. He was ecstatic, they had an indoor playground and a nice lounge area for the parents to come have lunch with their children with moderate privacy. Upon acceptance, I realized they put us in a different campus that I hadn’t viewed. While they may all be in churches, they are in no way comparable.

All in all, we will be transferring to a new school as soon as possible. Hopefully I can help just one parent avoid making a $300 mistake by staying as far away from this school as possible.

I enrolled my oldest in K during the second semester of the 21-22 school year and we had a great experience! Now both my kids will be starting here in the fall.
My sons teacher Ms. Brown was SO caring and communicated everything – something a worrisome mom like me truly appreciated. You could tell she took the time to get to know the kids and build a bond with them. I also love the officers at the school and how seriously they take their job of protecting the students and representing Newman.
My husband and I were very apprehensive sending our kids to school (hence such a late enrollment), but the “trial run” we gave putting our first one through Kindergarten here has made us feel like we made the right decision and couldn’t have found a better school if we tried!
