Im new to the city and I see some of these reviews and maybe I missed something here. This place has the most nastiest rudest dispatchers Ive ever seen in history. It gets to the point they dont even answer the phone once they recognize the name on the caller I.d. Its disgusting how they treat people who have a concern for THEIR OWN child. The moment WE as parents dont feel what is happening OVER AND OVER is acceptable and these dispatchers not caring. We parents get upset and they act as if we are in the wrong. These are your buses and your duty to make sure certain guidelines are in place. I was told my kid was always late to the bus stop . Not true. She is advised to stand in her building doorway until the bus comes
. EXCEPT her bus stops just about close to the other block (how would he see her) but after telling that they say its an illegal stop to pick her up right at the door (but they did it at first until I started complaining about certain things). Lets not forget to mention another bus drops a kid off DIRECTLY where my child sits and wait for the bus (but I thought it was illegal). On black and white her bus states 8:32am pick up . Hes never ever on time himself for that. For the evening it states on black and white 4:32pm drop off and she arrives home 30 mins later . Ok I get traffic but THEY DISPATCHERS feel some type of way when you even call after waiting for so long at the stop .. where as on ink THE TIME IS WRONG . Im over this transportation place and all it has to offer. also THEY DO NOT ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY WITHOUT A DOUBT PUT KIDS FIRST. STRAIGHT LIES. N if they soooo much on schedule AGAIN be here and drop off ON TIME
Told that once a driver closes the door, legally they can’t re-open. My question is if the driver seems the child running towards the bus, why would they close the door? But Michelle at dispatch advised that the busses are on a schedule. So here you have a child trying to get to school and no support from NNPS! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN OUT OF THE NORM TO MAKE KIDS LATE. My sister, her Aunt, died suddenly this weekend. I Don have transportation and her dad is a paraplegic. It’s not an everyday happening. No wonder compassionate drivers don’rt want to drive for you. I have seen 2 boys running towards the bus and the driver has pulled the stop sign and drove off! NNPS need to go back to putting kids first! There can be and are legit children who loves going to school and a few minutes/ seconds should not deter them. Because NNPS TRANSPO has a schedule to meet.
