This is one of the worse schools my kids have been at. I had the school call me to tell me my child wasn’t in school today even tho she was which put me in a full panic. I’ve had my sister pick my child up from school when she arrived she asked for her by her first in last name the still brought down the wrong child. My child has been bullied on as well as other kids. You as a parent will be the last to know if something is wrong with your child. They won’t even pick up the phon in call in tell you your child is ill. More importantly they won’t even call in tell you if your child is failing they email you in expect single mother’s who work full time can barely have a minute to read their emails instead of them calling they will continue to let that child fail. I’ve had a gym teacher turn his back on me when trying to ask him a question regarding my child, I’ve had the security basically give me a hard time about if I was telling the truth about where we reside even though she had my lease. My children has gotten detention slip after detention slip for dress code as if I didn’t write a letter stating I was going through a hard ship when I have it they will have a knew gym uniform especially since they kids aren’t just not dressed in uniform just because they don’t want to it’s because it was ripped from being warn or had holes. So what do they do when the parents are in hardships they give the kids detentions because your not financially stable to buy them at that moment. Then they tell you that you signed a handbook stating you will buy uniforms. The problem is I can buy it but when I have the money to buy them things happen in people’s life that’s out of all of our control but that doesn’t mean punish the children for it as if they did something wrong. You send a letter to school for the teachers to read some will even go as far as to joke the parents to other coworkers in front of the children. My children has been told they can’t go to the restroom. My daughter has came home with scratches in bruises from another kid who has bullied my child. You stress your frustration they will be very dismissive even go as far as to make you seem like your aggressive when it’s all these disrespectful, unprofessional teachers. This school will have you so frustrated it’s not worth the trouble. I’ve met some wonderful teachers at this school. The bad outweighs the good. If your looking for teachers who care and, who’s understanding you listens to the children. You won’t find it at this school. My children has been here 3 years it gets worse every year. What do they do for the people who get laid off work who can’t spend the money on these expensive uniforms? What do they do if you fall bad in just can’t afford it at that moment? No ones kids should be mistreated or punished for the parents not being able to afford it at the moment. Food is so distasteful the kids barely will eat school lunch. If the school goes on lockdown you as a parent will be the last to know. Most of these teachers aren’t even approachable. Summer time no AC, Winter Time barely heat. Euclid transportation and, Nobal don’t communicate. Your child can be on the bus for hours no one knows a thing. They can’t keep teachers a lot off the teachers come in go by the year if they don’t quite. Then your child is stuck with a sub that doesn’t know what’s going on.
My daughter is in this school for four months and till now had no complain. She likes her teachers and I found the worksheets given really good. Also each student gets a chrome book with a secure usage. They use a bunch of useful educational tools any one needs to know how to use like Zoom, Google classroom, Mobymax and a few more that I could not remember. The classrooms have internet connected projectors and smart boards as well as white boards. It has an activity building that is great for kids but because of covid restrictions its usage is limited. But I am happy that my daughter is able use all those educational apps use successfully, follow her homework online and complete them. Teachers provide both hard and soft copy of worksheets so that students who missed the class for some reason can easily keep the track of what is going on in the school. Teachers work hard to maintain a secure and peaceful environment. Besides the staff working inside are really kind and caring. I want to thank to all teachers and staff who are in Noble Academy. But if you want to get the best outcome for your kids education, you should also follow your kids study. Anyway they are kids and tended to have fun and study less if they have opportunity to skip anything instead of working hard. It would be great if it had a bigger area for sport activities and library. But if you can solve it in your area or through public libraries, then no worries.
The dean for the older kids was quite mean to my daughter Da’aisa and picked on her and gave her suspension for a fight she wasn’t even evolved in. The nurse is worthless as she only gives cold napkins out for bruises and scratches. The no homework policy is quite dumb considering the fact that these kids will face lots of homework in highschool but otherwise the school isn’t that bad
