Although it’s ok for teachers to have facial hair at this school, year 11 students are not allowed to have any facial hair. They will be sent home and have their learning interrupted. Im not sure how some teenagers that have developed earlier than others can’t learn at the same capacity as their peers because of a couple of mm of facial hair, but quite frankly I can’t wait till my child has finished at this school as I find the punishments for their actions are unreasonable most of the time. This is meant to be a multicultural school but I find it very biased. Paul Dawson as a leader for these kids do better. I am an ethnic female and mother and am appalled how the hair situation is being handled. I hope for your sake you aren’t asking teenage girls with facial hair to shave or go home if they don’t.
While this is a large high school, I have found there support for my child amazing. There’s some great teachers and Mr k who is one of the teachers who taught year 7 last year was great.
They give out detentions like nothing. Even for the things that aren’t even bad. The school excepts the best at all times, anything against the rules will get you in trouble. Don’t attend this school, it’s also made students mental health worse from how other kids treat one another.
Oh boy! This school is soooo Ohio ;-; Do not visit! And definitely don’t consider enrolling children. My child was bashed by ‘eshdog’ NEVER WILL I SEND MY CHILD BACK THERE. That eshdog knows who they are!
My daughter has recently switched schools and let me tell you she couldn’t be happier!!! She has been learning new things as well has making new friends! One friend in particular who has caught her interest goes by the name of Sam D, what a little hottie!!! Love the school xx
