went to this school 5 years ago, for an undiagnosed autistic girl the environment was still welcoming. Made so many life long friends, later did work experience here and the kids have not changed! Still wonderful staff and students. I owe North Sydney Dem my leadership skills young. I’m now in year 11 and am a local radio host who’s been able to gain scholarships at AFTRS through my work (as well as a friend I met here!). The Dem played such a huge part in my adolescence and I will forever think fondly of the place. And thanks Jackie for taking care of us in the sick bay!

Short review: wonderful teachers, good programs, go here if your in north Sydney.

Long review: I went to NSDS from kindie to year 6, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I have built Extremely fond memories of this school, from getting voted as student executive to meeting friends, to walking out the gate for the last time. I have also gone to most of the camps there (including band) and they are all worth the money. All the food is payed for, and you go and do fun stuff. If your looking for a good school for your child, go here.

Photos: year 6 goodbye.

Edit: don’t listen to the joke reviews…

My son really enjoyed his time here, lots of good memories. However it was a bit strange that the school decided join year 5 and 6 classes together (makes no sense) not sure if they still do this. School decided to put up many demountables over the playground when really the solution should be cap the limit of classes.
school wouldn’t give lunch order to me
The playgrounds are a wreck, the toilets are disgusting, the floors were probably cleaned 10 years ago. Too many Jake Paulers and Logangsters. Canteen is ok. Some items are overpriced, 50c popcorn i recommend 🙂 The teachers are so good, but some are terrible. 2K17 Year 6 was the best. Good library. Has old buildings but new demountables.
