I called because the calander says today is the last day & a half day. I was notified about the two make to days, which I was also told we’re also half days, I wanted to confirm what time the bus comes in so I called after I couldn’t find the info in my emails, or anything, the lady was down right rude. She went on and on about how well communicated it was that today was no longer a half day, I literally sat there and listened to her go on and on about how everyone knows and it’s “common sense”. When concerned parents call, we shouldn’t be lectured or treated poorly for trying to make sure we have our facts straight. Especially when were contacting them after trying everything else.
Inaccurate information from website (portal) vs registration vs bus driver.

Had a direct call from the bus driver stating I’ve been taking my son to the wrong stop even though it was the same stop as we used the entire year last year; She told me to change it with transportation services and it may take a while to go into affect therefore I HAD to pick my child up from a random bus stop instead of the one he is use to. She was kind but didn’t provide accurate info.
the female representative at transportation services office was unprofessional and kept cutting me off.

Only positive note, at least updated his profile same day.

The bus driver shortage is out of hand. I wish they would figure it out because COVID is just a excuse anymore. People are lazy and call out of work period. Call it out for what it truly is. I wish parents had a chance to plan ahead. It’s to the point even a delayed bus is a safety issue because kids are freezing and waiting for hours outside. Something needs to change we need to do better for our kids.
