Northbelt Elementary School, Humble | Fees, Rankings, Address, Admission, Vacancies, Reviews & More

This school has not changed much since the last review. It is a despicable place to send your children. My daughter had attended another school district but when we moved with family after my husband lost his job, we were sent to the corresponding school from hell. My friend has the opportunity to work at this campus for a brief moment and all she had to say was that the principle herself teaches that because the children are poor they have to dumb things down and teach the parents as well because they don’t know any better. Enrollment was a nightmare (I should have taken it as a sign) and any day I have walked into this school there’s a spectacle. Let alone the first day of class my daughter’s teacher had on black yoga like pants with the words PINK written largely across her rear. My husband and I have taken the responsibility to school our daughter (mind you we are both college students) and the teacher seems to get upset that we deviate from her agenda. My daughter learned to do multiplication in her head from us but the teacher told her she was wrong for not drawing pictures to show how she got the answer. Sound like any program to you?-Common Core. Needless to say, she will not return to this school again because our daughter has been accepted into an Academy. And I am proud to say that it is completely due to my husband and I. And I’m sure that my grammar could use some revision, but after all I am poor and do not know any better.

The school is small but a wonderful community! All the teachers do their best to help the children and the principal is always ready to help out whenever! The school is always so clean and full of amazing teachers!!!
