DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL
I have attended this school as a student for the past 10 years and have graduated recently, and my goodness the stuff i have witnessed in this school is absolutely vile.

The lack of care given by so much of the staff is absolutely unacceptable, the physical and mental abuse i have seen staff and students go through is absolutely horrifying, along with the neglect and mistreatment of students.

There have been many incidents and behaviours this year and the school has done absolutely nothing about them. students who have displayed their opinions and thoughts on the situations that have happened end up being the ones getting suspended instead of the actual students who have acted out, it is the schools way of silencing them.

THE FACILITIES
The facilities at this school are absolutely inadequate for children with autism, not having a proper library and having to walk to the local one as the in school library has issues with flooding and leaks, not having a proper space to do food tech (cooking) and the only space that the school does has old banged up appliances which have to be repaired regularly from being so old, regular power and internet outages in the further out classrooms out the back of the school, asbestos in many of the buildings in areas who have violent students who tend to kick and punch holes in the walls and ceiling.

UNFAIR ENVIRONMENTS
In the past couple years This school has developed a really bad issue with misplacing students with certain needs in classrooms which don’t accommodate those needs, wheelchair accessibility, behavioural needs and food allergies.

This school also has different areas meant for students learning levels but in the past couple years as i mentioned, the schools faculty has done a poor job of allocating students to their rooms.
R
Some examples would be, students with extreme behaviours and needs being placed in classrooms meant for students with advanced learning levels therefore creating issues with students having behaviours and creating an environment extremely hard for people to work in.

NEW CAMPUS?
The school has promised us a new Lalor campus before 2024 and absolutely nothing has come to fruition. every time people have asked about it, the dates told keep getting later and later down the line and nothing has been announced. Little to no progress on sit has happened either aside from one new car park which is just a patch of gravel behind one of the school building which is shared by another nearby school. Recently there has been some works on knocking down some buildings but it has been going extremely slow.

CONCLUSION

DO NOT Under any circumstances ever send any of your children to this school if you want your children to get a proper education or proper treatment. Please reconsider your options in your choice of school.

EDIT: This Is my 2nd time posting this review due to the school taking down all of the bad reviews to hide the truth, so just keep that in mind before posting your own review.

One of the Best Special Needs Schools in Melbourne if not Australia. Great teachers and services.
I never heard of this school before. It was used to be in the Merriang School after they move out they went to another new building next to the Peter Lalor School.
This is an great source of inspiration for kids
