O. N. Hirsch Elementary School, Fremont | Fees, Rankings, Address, Admission, Vacancies, Reviews & More

We just moved from Wichita, Kansas to California. My daughter goes to school here and is a 4th grader. Let me tell you that this school sets their sights high for the little ones. Lots of homework and projects. It’s stressful for my girl but it builds character and gives early preparations of what will be expected in middle school. I feel it can only help her in the long run. Or so I hope because im trying to look at this in the most positive way. Thats why i went 4 stars instead of 2. Lol Her teacher is great and my daughter talks about her a lot. My daughters past schools have had very friendly office staff. Would always greet me by name and knew who my daughter was…but maybe that’s just a Midwest thing. Not that the staff isn’t friendly here they just don’t go the extra mile to feel family-ish. Also, I don’t like how there is always an open fence to the inside school yard. My daughters old school had security measures: you had to ring a bell, then the staff would look through a camera and then they would allow you to enter. This day and age that brought me comfort. Maybe the security needs to be reviewed and brought up to date. Anyway, it’s still a great school that challenges their little ones.

One of the top schools in Fremont Area, which has a rating of 10/10 from the government of United States of America, it has good teachers.

Fantastic school. Amazing, friendly teachers, friendly kids; everything about this school is great. Also, I love the Spring Program they hold every single year. This is hands down my fave school ever.
