This school is not the school for children who ultimately have severe learning disabilities. My daughter has mild autism and delayed learning disability. She had been going to public schools and was in classes considered for children with IEPs as well as getting therapy services outside the classroom. We moved from El Paso in April to Killeen and I had been researching this school beforehand. I did the tour and spoke with the principal. My daughter started in May and Her IEP was never followed or looked at for that matter. In the application it asks if you want therapy services from the school. I checked yes, my daughter never received services. Once her testing was done for her IEP and progress she was only evaluated on reading. Everything else on the form was blank. Granted her teacher was new but the principal should have know what was expected. There were also several times my daughter was hurt on the playground and they made it out to be no big deal. Fast forward to us leaving back to El Paso (my husband is in the Army) in December. We were unable to get a completed evaluation from Oak Creek to her new school. In fact the secretary and the principal said they never received them. I have the emails and paperwork saying otherwise. She could not start until all this paperwork was submitted! So we had to call around in order to get her back where she needed to be. Dont waste $230 a week on schooling because this one is not worth it.
I have never gone out of my way to review anything but this daycare is malicious unprofessional, rude, they will not show camera footage of inside the rooms when you’re kid gets hurt. They also will force any kid in there program to get mental health evaluations and behavioral evaluations saying if you do not attend the classes they will remove the kid from their program making you think you’re kid is under the level they should be. They do not provide lunch. My daughter went there for 2 years and my step son went for 2 years aswell they both would get the same reports of behavior issues but when I ask to see footage they denied me.
They also made a child protective service report for no good reason beside his cloths were to small I highly recommend you all take you’re child elsewhere cause you will have nothing but problems with this place

This school has been such a blessing for our family. Before we had taken my child to this school, was son was falling behind in math and had major anxiety about school. His behaviors were very challenging due to anxiety. Hes been at this school for 3 months now. Hes progressing quickly in math and his anxiety levels had gone down substantially. When I asked him
how school was going, his response was these kids are like me. Theres no bullying, the staff creates a space were everyone feels included and important. Their individual curriculum is based on where the child is currently at, and my child is making more improvement in his academics here, than in public school. I drive a total of two hours every day to get my child to and from school, but its totally worth it.
