This is by far the most wonderful preschool my kids ever went to. Between NY and CA, 2 kids and 5 different preschools, this is the best!
My younger boy went to Ocean View Academy Pre-K. It took him a while to adjust, but every one (and I mean EVERYONE, including staff), helped him adjust. After 2 months, I needed to beg him to leave his friends and come home.
Everything is nice and clean. They teach them a lot. At Pre-K they get “homework’ (just for fun, they do not have to do it if they don’t want to, but my son loves to do it!), they learn to write letters and numbers. They teach them science, cooking and different sports (baseball, soccer…) and gymnastic. They treat the kids with respect. Solving problems between kids quietly. By the end of each day, I get an email with 9-12 pictures of the kids and a few words on what they did that day. This way I can follow-up on what my son did and ask him to tell me more.
They price is great and includes snacks and lunch. The staff is great and whenever I needed to bring him earlier or pick him up late – no problems, no extra charge (others charge you per minute when you are late or need to change your schedule for a few days).
All kids are always happy, smiling, playing.
This is highly recommended place!
I was very excited to hear about the school through a close friend that had enrolled their child. I toured the center and was met with a friendly, warm director. She toured me around the facility and I got a sense of a safe and engaging environment. My child did not want to leave the center when it was time to go. The teachers were talking to the children at their level and were immersed in really fun projects with the children. Needless to say, we signed up our child and have loved every minute of it!
5 stars! This is such a good preschool (starting at age 2). The admins, teachers, and assistants are so caring and wonderful. Our child is learning a ton and has so much fun! It’s clear that the staff really cares — they make every holiday / occasion special for the kids (down to the smallest detail— they even put special red and pink tablecloths on their tables for the Valentine’s Day party). The facility is very clean and the kids are so happy here! I highly recommend
