This will certainly be her last.
I would give this school zero stars if I could but that isn’t fair (mainly due to the fact that the decent teachers at this school cannot necessarily control the lack of decency their co-workers exhibit).
Most people will tell you this school is “GREAT” – “its the best in the area” along with many other raving reviews (I haven’t read the ones of this website, to be fair), but I’m here to tell you the god-awful truth of how backwards this school truly is.
I haven’t come into contact too much with the Principle, so I cannot vouch for how his behavior is, but if he has any handle on who is hired to work as the front desk (AKA THE FACE) of the school, then he may be sorely misguided himself. With that being said, the ladies who operate all of the functioning between the parents and the children (aside from what normal necessities go on between the teachers and parents), are, for the most part, the most evil-minded women I have ever come into contact with. It has nothing to do with the time of the day, or the day of the week, or the time of the month, or the time of the year — NOTHING changes. And quite honestly, it’s really one woman who is unpleasantly rude and hateful (and any parent who has a kid who goes to this school knows exactly who I’m talking about), but her profound negativity affects the entire outfit of the office AND (the thing I am most concerned with) the children.
On several occasions, I have witnessed her and her employees react and respond very hatefully to the students and their parents, and what is the most startling of all, is that I have first hand experienced these women attempting to create a wedge between the parents and the students. I am not just using my experience to extract this review from – I have spoken to and encountered the same issue with many other parents.
This school may have some great teachers, but the office/administration is in desperate need of a face lift. A school’s duty is to educate children, promote, strengthen, and build positive attributes in their students. As a woman who works in education myself, I recognize the importance of adult behavior on the young absorbent minds of children. No matter how awful your day has been, no child deserves to be the recipient of the effects of your personal issues. You push through and remain an encouraging light beam in their life.
And with all that being said, I will be removing my child from this school as soon as humanly possible as to not have her believe even for a moment, that it is acceptable to be so rude, disrespectful, and hateful to anyone regardless of how they are treating you.
Some people perpetuate negativity, and those people should not be paid to influence our next generation.
