The Old London Road pre-school is simply amazing. Our son attended the setting until going to Reception. And our daughter has now also been there for nearly 3 years.
The care, the love, the dedication of the staff is just incredible. I also love the fact there is a huge garden where kids can play with mud, with sand and lots of toys. No big road nearby, no pollution.
I cried at the goodbye ceremony they organized when our son moved to Reception and will cry even more next month when our daughter moves on as well and we have to say goodbye to all the staff!
Janet and her team have created a wonderful, warm and supportive environment for all children.
The staff are constantly working to provide fun and engaging activities that further learning while fostering a caring community amongst the children.
The large garden provides an excellent space for the children to enjoy games and songs.

My son attended Old London Road for his pre-school year. The staff were caring and communicated effectively about how he was getting on and what he was learning.
The community feel and word of mouth recommendations is what got us interested and when visiting we found the enthusiasm of staff and their 25 years+ of experience gave us confidence our son would have a great time. We were not wrong; sponsored bounces, fun days, sparkly parties, sports day and so much singing! We have been really pleased with the experience our child had.
Both my children loved it here, as did I. The staff are well organised, warm, professional, and loving towards the children. From music, creative activities, and great / well contained safe outdoor space, this nursery has it all, even a supportive community that stretches out far and wide. My children are older now and they still attend Fun Day and wave hello to the staff, many of whom have been there over a decade. This nursery lives up to its wonderful reputation and Excellent Ofsted report. Janet who runs the nursery is well known and loved in the neighbourhood.
I cannot speak highly enough about Old London Road Pre-school. The educational provision is excellent but most importantly the care that the staff show the children is exceptional. The staff know every child very well and go above and beyond to support the children and families. We have been privileged to send our son to Old London Road for three years and he has thrived here. It is simply outstanding. We look forward to our younger son attending the school in the future.
