Man, this school was quite a mixed bag. Some stuff certainly wasn’t the best; like a lot of schools, especially middle, it had bullying, fights, etcetera. But it didn’t ever affect me a lot specifically because I was luckily in class, for the most part, with fairly good people. I even made a couple of great friends here and there. A couple of the teachers I had here were very helpful and supportive to me and helped me grow a lot. Others…not so much. But yeah, this school isn’t bottom of the barrel, and it isn’t quite sunshine and rainbows here either. I don’t regret coming here, though, overall. I sincerely doubt I’d come out the same if I went to some other school. As I said, this school did help me grow personally and academically. Your experience will likely be good if you just find the right people. Or don’t, I can’t tell you what to do dude ????. Anyway, jokes aside, spending time here, I found that school is definitely what you make it. No matter if you go to an Olmsted or a Meyzeek. Just keep that in mind if you’re thinking about going to OAS.
Peace ???
This school is not fit it has bugs and rodents in it. The students bring drugs. There are racist teachers. Its not a productive school. The principals and counselors are not good people. They are hateful at this school. They judge off looks. The caucasian people have more freedom and lee way than any other race. This school is full of drama. And the staff are rude. This school has too many fights. The rules are ridiculous because this is like an alternative school the students are very disrepectful to eachother and the teachers are disrepectful to the students. They reffer to cutting your eyes at someone as bullying. If you send your child here be prepared for them to hate the school, ask to be removed, and if they are not caucasian they will have something to say about racism. Consider a school like highland for your child to go to. This school is horrible and it is academically a low school even though it is a “magnet” school!!! Thanks for your time and consideration!
This school is horrible do not let any of your children go here. Favoritism is a problem within the teachers. Horrible teachers with disgusting attitudes. Its filthy filled with rodents and bugs. The worst teacher there is Stephanie Barber. She has no shame about what she says and hands out write ups like they’re candy. She always goes over all of these rules on how if we reach 3 marks were getting a phone call home, but she doesn’t even follow her own rules. The second she hears you talk or make a sound she calls your parents. This school triggers so much depression, and causes HORRIBLE anxiety. Please do not send your children here for their own good.
