My 6yo daughter enjoyed the art classes thoroughly over the summer of 2023. From an instruction perspective, I recommend the company. However, after her classes were over, I was offered to close or suspend her account. I was unsure of the fall / winter schedule for my daughter, so I chose to freeze her account. This included a $165 pre-payment fee, which we did. Today, my daughter has decided to not pursue additional classes. I called One River and was told the $165 cannot be reimbursed. I have since read the fine print of the agreement and it does say the deposit is not refundable. So, although One River did not do anything against their own policy, it seems ridiculous to me to hold a nonrefundable deposit for a child’s art class! I understand the need to financially plan for instructors and materials, but every other art school in the area does not require a non-refundable deposit. Very disappointing business practices and would not recommend to others

A wonderful part of the community staffed with fantastic, caring instructors. Cannot say enough good about the One River team. Our family has been enrolled there since this location opened. Highly recommended!
