I’ve been waiting to write this as I keep pinching myself wondering if I’m dreaming.

After a rough start to 4th grade when we changed schools from private to public, we decided to give OCASA a try. Our daughter loves art and science so we hoped it would be a good fit.

We are so impressed after her first 2 months. She LOVES going to school since the hands on projects are so fun. She has made some smart friends. The science projects are beginning to engage her leadership skills. The music program is fantastic and she can’t wait to get home to practice. And she looks forward to the monthly field trips.

The communication app is amazing for parents. The PTSA team is filled with ambitious and friendly parents. We honestly are so happy to have found this community of engaged families.

The campus is not great, but the environment is warm and loving and I hope the school district someday acknowledges this amazing school and assigns it a better home.

I did not have a very good experience at this school as a student, the teachers here were nice but I did not like the summit learning program for the middle school section. The after school programs were bad until the last one they got. The teachers over the three years I was at the school grew tired of me. Most of the posts on this page are from the teachers and staff so it gives the school a better rating. There however was an incident two years ago where students gave legitimate answers on the review page and got in trouble for it. If you are a parent looking take your child to this school, do it. You may want to think twice about choosing this school.
Jan 2020: We switched from our local public school to OCASA and my child was thriving just after a few weeks. Fantastic teachers, classmates & opportunities to grow.
2022 EDIT: This school gets better with age. My daughter is in 3rd now and has made so many wonderful friends. Teachers have been really supportive across different subjects. Math is my daughter’s favorite subject and she really enjoys reading daily now. The STEM class encourages her to build at home, using recycled materials to create whole cities with simple machines. I have seen so much growth this year and I know it’s with the help of OCASA.
