The school is great but some of the staff they have is bad. But when it comes down to confidential I say poor the principal told my personal business to a cop which should of never happen yes he’s a cop but didn’t give her the right to say anything my kids are being questioned every chance they get Dcfs always being called on me every year for stupid stuff the school is great but some of the staff there is ok!! And the school is racist my kids even feel that the school is racist !!!
All those comments about a racist, bully principal are untrue. Our principal is very just and African – American. Also when the teachers put there hand on a student, it is only a pat on the back. The gym teacher is OUTSTANDING, as well as the drama, and music teacher. (The art teacher was fired due to CPS budget cuts.) The school also takes bullying very seriously. As a student I agree they are strict about talking in hallways etc., but for the best.
I love the school. What an awesome opportunity for my son to learn in a Montessori environment! He is thriving. I also love the community of parents who support each other and get super involved to make sure the school maintains its wonderful programming despite CPS cuts. Bravo to the huge team that make this school such a success.
