Our Lady’s was a marvellous experience for me as a student, and I am so grateful to have been apart of their community. I graduated in 2023 and I can confirm that all of my experiences, from foundation to year 6, have been fantastic. All of my teachers have been an absolute pleasure to work with and learn from. Not only is the actual learning experience at Our Lady’s incredible, but the extra activities they offer are incredible, such as their concert that happens every two years and their well thought out camps. (Although these mostly apply to years 5-6, other year levels also have their own extra activities)

However, I must admit, this school isn’t as great as it used to be. Lots of things have definitely changed, for the worse. It seems that a good chunk of what made this school so special has been missing ever since 2021. I know that this is just me being an old grandpa, but I do miss a lot of the old staff, having our concerts at the clockwork tower, basically all of the things that got axed during or after 2021.

If I was able to get through this school with a smiling face every millisecond, surely your child can too. This school is definitely the best of the best.

Also, if anyone sees this, tell me if Xavier ever wins the school athletics carnival. Once you start getting familiar with the school, you’ll notice an ongoing pattern with the sports carnival.

Highly recommend this school!
We have been fulfilled as parents that today our daughter is a confident young lady who grew wiser with strength ,peace with in and joy for being happy at OLHC.
The school used to be pretty good, some of the teachers from when I went to the school were annoying but I don’t think the principle Ms. McIntosh had to fire them all. Mrs. McIntosh got rid of many things that we used to do at the school like having the sport carnival at an actual athletics track, having the school play in an actual clocktower, and many other things. The principle even went far enough to get rid of our schools ties with an Indonesian sister school that our school used to have wonderful relations with. My sources from inside the school tell me that the teachers are extremely biased and are unfair to many of the students when students would have negative interactions with each other, leaving the kids who were attacked verbally or physically to be the ones who get in trouble.
Faculty are all on point. Caring, diligent, structured and most importantly for our family – in line with understanding how our child learns.

The faculty has changed hands and it’s been a really smooth transition.

Mrs Macintosh has brought a warm and focused hand to the schools leadership. Our second one is starting next year and we’re all looking forward to continuing our story with OLHC.

We are so happy to be a part of this beautiful school community. There is a passionate, dedicated and clever leadership team at the school who guide a wonderful group of teachers. All demonstrate the values you’d want your children exposed to like kindness, trust and a drive to want to see your child reach their full potential. What I like most is the small class sizes compared to other schools, and there are no split level classes. They have specialist STEM, art, music, Italian and sport classes and enough variety that means my kids are genuinely excited to go to school each day. I would highly recommend this school to others and intend for my children to stay at the school until they graduate.
