I am a public school teacher, and I chose to send my child to OLPH school specifically because of the nurturing environment, the service opportunities to give to others, and the rigorous and engaging curriculum. Attending OLPH is the best decision I have made in terms of education for my child, and I cannot say enough amazing things about the students, staff and parents. There are also so many more after school opportunities that my child has the option to participate in than if she was at a public school. She has advanced to above grade level in math and her reading, spelling and vocabulary have improved ten-fold since enrolling 3 years ago. I highly recommend OLPH school and will be sad when my child graduates in the spring.
I have two children who attend OLPH. I absolutely love the school. A family-friendly atmosphere, and obviously a faith-based education were two key elements for me. Everyone is on a first name basis, and I value the increasing diversity that Im starting to see at the school. The learning atmosphere is amazing, and my children are doing so well. I feel completely safe and comfortable while they are at school with the peace of mind of knowing that they are getting a quality education. I wanted a smaller academic environment, a challenging curriculum, and warm and nurturing teachers. I have found a sweet spot here at OLPH!
OLPH School provided my kids with an excellent education where each teacher knew them as individuals and they were given the opportunity to enjoy an individualized learning environment where they could flourish. Both distinctly different learners, each of my children’s learning styles were met, included support for documented learning differences. The OLPH school community is strong among both students and parents. It’s no surprise that my teenage kid’s closest friends are those they made at OLPH so many years ago. We will always consider OLPH School our “home” :).
