We have two children attending Our Redeemer Lutheran School and we can’t say enough great things about the school. The teachers, principal, and pastors are fantastic and caring people who are all providing our children with an outstanding education. Not only have my kids established friends within their class, but ORLS has a program called Ranger Junior Olympics (RJO) in which kids from K-8 get to work on projects together. This gives students the opportunity to work with all age groups and a great opportunity for younger students to meet and learn from the older students. This also provides a great opportunity for the older students to be mentors. Our family are not members of the congregation of Our Redeemer, however, we have always felt welcome and a part of their family. My wife and I are truly grateful for the Christian education our children are being provided both from the curriculum they offer, the extra-circular activities they provide, and the care they receive at before/after school care. We are very happy we made the decision to have our kids attend Our Redeemer Lutheran School.

When our daughter was diagnosed with learning issues in first grade we were not satisfied with how the school district we were in did not provide her with the help she needed in a satisfactory manner, so we look for a new school and found that and much more at ORLS. Over the last seven years our girl has grown as a person and student due to the care and helpfulness she received from the teaching and church staff at ORL. When adjustments needed to be made because she was falling behind it didn’t take five months to figure things out as w/our previous school, it took one meeting on a Thursday with principle, teachers, parent, and a plan was set in place the following Monday. Parents don’t have a guidebook to follow for raising their children and sometimes we falter, but with ORLS in their corner parents can feel good about the decision to educate them at Our Redeemer Lutheran School.

Our first experience with Our Redeemer was their amazing Vacation Bible School program last summer. They created such an amazing environment during that one week that every time we drove past after my 3 year old begged to return. We enrolled her to start here last fall, and we are so amazed with all she has learned. Her teachers Mrs. Keupers, Mrs. Peck, and Mrs. Pool, are always full of energy and maintain an amazing amount patience. They are consistent and the children in their room always seem engaged in a variety of activities. I would highly recommend their school to anyone who is looking for an environment where the educators go above and beyond what is required of them.
