Had to leave this school at the beginning of year 10 because the bullying i received over the past 3 and a half years was getting to much for me to cope. The head of year never helped me with any of these problems. all the other teachers took my bullies side and left me to struggle. i was laughed at because of my weight in front of teachers and they all said that they don’t actually mean it. when it came to weather, you were never allowed to take your blazer off in the sweltering heat and you were never allowed to wear hoodies or coast inside as it wasn’t part of uniform. the food was incredibly overpriced and if you were a few pence off they refuse you food leaving you to go hungry.
This School In Words, Is like a prison. I spent 2 years there and I was given detentions for silly things like white socks and ‘not tucked in shirt at the back’ and for sitting on school benches. The nerve, why are the benches even there if you receive detentions! Many of the staff are untrained and bluntly rude to students, They highly favour the uniform over the actual students and strictly don’t allow coats and hats in the winter and are forced to wear their thick clothing during hot weather.
If your children have any mental issues or illnesses, I recommend not sending them here, the school expects you to just get up and deal with it.

Spent two years here before I had to move. This school completely wrecked my mental health and destroyed almost all of my self confidence, yet has the nerve to say they put students first. We were constantly encouraged to tell staff about any worries however when we did we were always told that it was either our fault or they couldn’t do anything. We had no voice and we’re treated as children but expected to act like adults. They’re always understaffed meaning we constantly have substitutes who don’t know what they’re doing and the staff they do have are unbearable and not generally nice people.. It’s like they strive to make your life miserable and they were even rated one of the worst schools in the country by the sun due to how many incidents they’ve had that have been so unreasonable they’ve ended up on the news for exampl, sending a student to IE (isolation) for having’too thick eyebrows’. If your child is already insecure don’t send them here, in fact don’t send any kids here. It should be child abuse to send kids to this school.
Came here for 2 years before I moved in year 9. This school made mine and loads of people’s mental health bad. Made us have our blazers in 35deg+ weather and if we didn’t have them they would put us In reflections or exclude us. Poor at dealing with bullying
This school makes so many people depressed and makes people have to take time off school, it genuinely make’s people’s mental health really bad I would not recommend sending your kids here.
