This school use to fantastic under Mrs Denny, Mr Keane and Miss Virkman. Some great teachers, however this has gone downhill. When you son has 30 injuries of which 21 head injuries and you speak to the new principle who shows no interest in the welfare of your child and when you state it’s not good enough and you are removing your child due to safety concerns and the the professional response from Mrs Abbott the principle is “okey dokey”.
I was consistently bullied in this school when I was there years ago, this impacted me throughout my schooling because what started here, followed me everywhere. Not ONE teacher did ANYTHING while boys and girls threw stones at me, slapped, spat, stood and hit me repeatedly. I hope the “standards” have improved. I couldn’t wait to leave, the Year 6 teacher when I was there used to tell the class we’d never be anything if we couldn’t remember the 8 times tables. I was given “warnings” for no reason, ignored when I raised issues with proof and was told the teachers were having their lunch when I NEEDED help.
The best part of my day at this school was going home.
I would NOT recommend this school to anyone, if you want your kids to have a nice upbringing, DO NOT send them to this school, it will ruin them.
