0 stars. I graduated from here 11 years ago and I have to get this off my chest. I went to this school, 9-12th grade. The regimented rules and cost, with biblical teaching is absolutely not worth it. It is not a school’s job to put good Christian worldviews into your children. As the parent, it is your job. Christian schools in general are a sorry excuse for parents to be lazy with raising their kids with sound Christian doctrine. I would not send my son here, or anyone else to send their kids here. Kids are meant to be in an environment where the parents are primary influences, NOT the school, or under qualified teachers. The former principle when I went here was quite spineless and unwilling to confront teachers that were abrasive with students. I’m not sure if Christian schools are designed to empower kids to embrace Christ. The whole premise is twisted. Christ is not a religion to study, he’s not a class to ace. When you have a class called Bible, kids can grow up and extrapolate what else Christ will grade them on. We aren’t going to be graded on! Your relationship with Jesus is a love story to enjoy, we are meant to be enjoyed, and Christ is meant to be enjoyed by us. Christian schools put a sour taste of a personal relationship with Jesus in our mouths. Because parents don’t get on the same page, so then kids get sent here, while family life at home is falling apart or frail. I once asked one of my classmates why we are sent here, and their response was “we’re getting prepared for the world”. I couldn’t disagree more, we were sent here, because our parents coddled us, and they didn’t want to answer hard questions, questions where God could really get into our hearts and strengthen us, in the face of a world adversity at a public school. We are IN this world, not OF it. But at Christian schools, they sterilize the kids into thinking School is a safe place, it’s not meant to be a safe place. Jesus, and our homes are. And the parents. 0 stars
Great school for those looking to not send their child to the public school. A biblical worldview is vital to their teaching.
