This school has really good teachers but is too strict and has bad discipline. There is so much bullying. I attend this school and it has caused me to think suicidal thoughts ever since I first entered however there has been less bullying but its only reduced by a tad bit. They also give to much homework which induces people with stress disorders and anxiety to panic or go into depression. The education is really good though. The uniform looks horrible and disgusting, I wouldn’t mind blazers but polymer jumpers look idiotic and lame.
Wasted my time here to interview. The school is run as a college with little control mechanisms. Kids running in corridor. Safeguarding not taken seriously, I offered my passport as ID but they said not needed. For a collaborative lesson, the school did not give me a classroom with any tables resulting in big problem of collaborative gathering of groups. My heart sank as I saw the room for interview with a pile of perhaps ten(ish) pieces of trash scattered in centre of room. With a computer room and no work tables, the classroom layout encouraged groups to turn backs on others in same group, destroying any possibility of quality team collaboration. Internet crashed on ppt resulting in a missing slide on presentation. Was asked to wait in staffroom with no access to food until almost 2pm. No reason given for poor choice of classroom when I pointed it out.
Result was that my heart was certainly not positive towards the value of the lesson.
I used to go to here all the time on a Friday night for a pint and a pack of peanuts. It was great… But ever since they banned hoodies the quality of everything has dropped majorly… Heavily disappointed in this establishment. And they don’t even serve Guinness any more !
This school is absolutely horrible I’ve went here the teachers stare at u weirdly especially when ur a girl and u have a male teacher they always stare at u this school,I do not recommend to anyone, the exterior of the school is poor, there’s barley any school trips no activities all pen and paper.DONT GO HERE!!the canteen food is way to expensive PS1 FOR A COOKIE I can buy 5 in tescos for PS1.25 the resources in the school are ATROCIOUS the teacher don’t even do anything when a child gets bullied they just give the people isolation if u bully like how is that going to solve anything all it’s going to do is make us do the same mistake again if we wanted to
