This is the 3rd principal in the few years we’ve been there. And the current principal is now leaving. There’s? been several assistant principals come and go. After being at the school for sometime I’ve witnessed that several teachers are over the top! I mean full on yelling at the children. I understand being firm at times, but yelling like a maniac, a bit much for the first graders. If that’s how they treat their children at home, then I feel sorry for them. But that does not give any teacher the right to ever speak to my children or anyone elses in that manner. Some of these teachers look like they’re on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

My other childs fourth grade teacher had the class grading each others spelling test while she text whoever. She was previously the sixth grade teacher and hadn’t even adjusted the workload for fourth grade, she was giving sixth grade assignments to fourth graders. Well, she didn’t last long and was gone mid year. One of the substitutes, who is a staff member, informed the class that the reason the teacher was no longer there was because of them. This was reported by myself and several other parents. After a Few Weeks of substitutes, they brought in a new teacher.

When there is a real issue it’s quickly overlooked as though a teacher could do no wrong. If a teacher has been reported several times, by several different parents, maybe it’s not everyone else who has the problem. However, there are a couple of staff and teachers that do a good job. It’s too bad the rest spoil the reputation. We will not be returning, as I see no improvements or concern on behalf of the school. Make school a fun place to be, education can be fun!

?????????? We ??the new Principal this past year. He’s awesome! Our experience with the school has been great, Some staff may have retired or were offered better jobs, I’ve heard nothing bad about any of the School’s Staff, any trouble we’ve had has been resolved with reasonable actions. Learning start at home. ?????????? Keep up the great work, Lil’Pirates!

It’s the worst school you could several go to. 90% of the 6th graders are suicidal. The guidance doesn’t even try to help they just automatically think to put them in circles of care. All the staff are racist and when a student is getting harassed instead of helping them they all treat them worse. I hate that school
