The only reason why I am giving this school 2 stars is because some of the teachers, including choir, that I had were excellent in teaching us. Other than that, I do not recommend this school. It was the worst during 6th and 7th grade. I was constantly bullied and was injured by other students. I let the principal know about this multiple times but nobody took any action until our 7th grade vice principal was replaced. Fighting was very common. One of the worst teachers I had accused me of playing Minecraft and breaking the computer. I was not given a chance to explain that I didn’t do this or even speak up. There was another moment where I was sick and the teacher didn’t let me go to the office to the nurse. The administrative team WILL NOT listen to you unless it’s a parent. Even then, they would do little to solve the problem. It was very much believed by others that the administrative team cared more about their payroll then they did providing their own students a safe education without having to worry about bullying. There was another time where they put me into an advanced class as an experiment without my or my parents consent. Obviously, I failed and was later put back into the proper classes like I should have. If you can, try to go to a different school or a private school.
I give it 2 stars because the food is really bad because they always use left overs from like a week ago which is really bad. And also some teachers are really mean and picky at points I went here for all 3 years and my first 2 yrs were fun untill 8th grade but one of my favorite teachers were ms boatman. Because she always admires all her students and cares. I don’t think I ever had a worst teacher in 8th grade. Cause all my teachers were sweet. But the 8th grade assistant principal is really mean because she never listens to the students behalf of story of what happened in the incident she always believes the teacher no matter what! Which really bugs me! Also their is too many fights everyday and the teachers sometimes never solve the fight.So if you don’t like any of these things that happened at this school. Then I don’t recommend your kids coming here just from my perspective!
