-This school is a disgrace. The building is falling apart. The teachers are overwhelmed and it appears to be understaffed. The kids are cussing like sailors and fighting like UFC ring leaders. They never answer the phone unless you call back to back, even then, you will more than likely get a rude bland and tasteless greeting. The teachers are there to get em in and get em out. They only serve milk during breakfast/lunch and for a 90 something percent African American school, and considering the fact about 75% of African Americans are Lactose, you would think they would give our babies other options all the time not just some days. The roof looks terrifying and they have the hallways lined with trash cans to catch the leaking water. This place is like a little mini prison. GO TO THE STATE BOE LIKE I HAVE DONE, consider the School Choice Program or something but DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CHILD…
Horrible school. Don’t expect them to do anything if your child experiences bullying. I’ve gone to the school several times over the past 2 years and nobody ever seems to know what’s going on or where anybody is located. It’s especially sad when the teachers are participating in bullying as well. I should have turned around the day I went to register my children and the teachers were screaming at the children as if they were at home talking to their own. I understand that dealing with hundreds of children on a daily basis is no easy task, but if it’s not your passion to make a positive difference, then you should find another profession. I would never recommend anyone send their child there.
This school is the worst, dirty, and ghetto. My son got one more month left THANK GOD! WE ARE RUNNING FAST AWAY FROM THERE. The staff do not care, the kids from low trash income family that do not show proper guidance for their children. After I pay $60 aftercare week for the staff to also be ghetto, on their phones while the kids in the corner fighting n running crazy. This school is really sad and should be closed down until they get staff that really care and a make over.
