This school was a great start to my life in school, I did pretty good academically and hand great teachers all they way through our my 8 years at this school.
I participated in the school skiing and ski team where I consistentenly tried my hardest to do well. This lasted about from year 4-8 where Friday Fizz was sadly cancelled.
My last few years at this school were definitely the pinnacle, where I had great teachers, got my grades up and was with all of my friends. I’d say year 7 is where I peaked, getting pushed to my best self by Ms Sharplin. An amazing teacher who always tried to help, whoever it was. In my last year, I was with Ms V, a very relaxed and fun teacher, who still strived and put in the effort. In my primary years, Ms Bridgemen who was my Year 2 teacher was a great start for me where I was helped a lot and made lots of friends

I started a new sport, Karting and managed to perform well enough to get up onto the front of the hall, where in the same year I hosted the sports assembly and won a prize at Prizegiving. I’d like to give thanks to all my teachers over they years, And a great Principal, Mr George who always supported me in any endeavours that I wanted to pursue. I’d also like to thank Paul and Amy for getting me better if I iver needed to go to the sick bay.

A couple things that I found in my time was a lack of restrooms, where there would always be lines, and they would never be clean, making them a really bad health hazard, and supported poor hygiene at home. I also found that there was a couple rude teachers (who I won’t point out) ,which would repeatedly stop me from striving for the best for myself, after finding they wouldn’t help me.

Awesome school. and the 150 anniversary last year was kinda slick, throughout my years in pds it was kinda fun, weels day was also slick but bake sake was alright and the taniwha was fun as they should change the playgrounds they let it crust 4 stars
School was great here. Made more friends here than where I am now. I studied her for 5 years from year 2 onto year 7. Although I had some bad experiences, the school is great and overall, a roller-costar ride.

Zaki.

This school had not prepared me for highschool. Parnell District School had many opportunities to make the school better, but had ignored in and focused on removing the perfectly fine playground and replacing it, rebranding logos, and more. Youd go to school, do stuff on your laptop, and leave. Although the school had faulty education.. i cant say i didnt enjoy my time there with friends.
Subject: Concerns Regarding Parnell District School Facilities and Resource Allocation

15/11/2023
To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this report to express significant concerns about the conditions at Parnell District School, specifically regarding the cleanliness of the bathrooms, resource allocation, and the prevalence of bullying within the school environment.

1. Dirty Bathrooms:
One of the primary issues observed at Parnell District School is the unsatisfactory cleanliness of the school bathrooms. It has come to our attention that the facilities are not adequately maintained, which poses a health and hygiene risk to the students. The lack of cleanliness in such essential areas raises questions about the school’s commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for its students.

2. Resource Allocation:
There are concerns regarding the allocation of financial resources at Parnell District School. It has been noted that funds appear to be allocated towards what some may perceive as non-essential or frivolous items rather than prioritizing the direct needs of the students. This misallocation may be affecting the overall quality of education and the resources available for educational purposes.

3. Bullying Incidents:
Reports suggest a high incidence of bullying within the school premises. The prevalence of bullying is detrimental to the well-being of students and can negatively impact the overall school culture. It is crucial for the school administration to address and actively work towards reducing bullying incidents to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

4. Student Exodus:
An alarming trend has been observed with a notable number of students leaving Parnell District School. This trend raises questions about the overall satisfaction of students and parents with the quality of education and the school environment. Investigating the reasons behind this exodus is essential to address potential issues and improve the overall educational experience at the school.

In conclusion, it is recommended that Parnell District School administration takes immediate and effective action to address the issues highlighted in this report. Ensuring the cleanliness of facilities, transparent and responsible resource allocation, implementing anti-bullying measures, and understanding the reasons behind the student exodus are critical steps to improve the school’s overall standing.

We trust that these concerns will be taken seriously and that appropriate measures will be implemented promptly to create a positive and conducive learning environment at Parnell District School.

Sincerely,

Grimace
