(Just want to get this out of the way, a lot of the newer St.Pauls and Marists are rivals, making some put 1 stars, its easy to see.)

Marist is a great school. In years 7-9, Projects span over 10 weeks in which they teach mostly everything you need to know and prepare you for assessments. Most teachers are extremely friendly and trust me, if you don’t act like an idiot, the only demerit you would get would be for no homework. Many of the students have strong bonds through pastoral lessons, which teach everyone to have Family Spirit, be In The Way Of Mary, Simplicity, Love of Work and Presence.

During sport, Marist is very competitive, although we show good sportsmanship to each other by the end of the match. Referee teachers let the students have fun while completing sport on Thursday.

There are many extracurricular activities such as coding, debating and chess club. In Pastoral, there are excursions such as a camp and formation days. Mass in an assembly is relatively often, being at-least twice during a term.

Overall, I would 100% recommend you send your son here to become a better person. Going through this school will be a major event during your son’s life and will leave a good mark on their life forever.

Fortior Ito,
Go Forth With Strength.

It may be one of the top schools in Sydney but trust me worst catholic school. Parents if you see this review, do you really want to go to an old school established/made in 1820??!! No that means old school stuff gets taught to children and the young men at the school will grow with old fashioned life. Got to St Paul’s Catholic College Greystanes they have good young well behaved students there, all students show respect, courageous and a good influence of behaviour (positivity).
It has an anti-bully policy, but when I get bullied in this school, no one notices or cares. And the detention and demerit system is messed up they give you detentions for no reasons.
The school is great! Always supportive and the staff care about you. There is something about the students which allow us to be true “men of Marist”! Would send my sons here any time.
Was great until it went under new management, then they implemented a more “progressive” system which ended up making the ship sink further then anticipated. Seen too many people rejected the right to graduate or participate in the hsc because of the admins personal preferences.
