We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Michael Taylor and Cary Miles, whose dedication and investment in our children’s education have been truly outstanding. Their commitment to fostering growth in young learners is evident in every adjustment and effort they make to cater to the individual needs of each student. The small class sizes and levelled learning approaches have significantly boosted our children’s confidence in their learning abilities.
Additionally, we extend our deepest thanks to Ms. Carmel and Michelle for their invaluable guidance and support. Their influence has been a cornerstone in our children’s educational journey.
Finally, we want to acknowledge Julie, whose warm welcomes and ever-present smile create an environment of comfort and trust. She consistently addresses our queries with patience and clarity, making us feel valued and supported.
Thank you all for your unwavering dedication and the positive impact you’ve had on our children’s education.
Great local public school that has a strong community backing it.
The principal has changed recently and some positive change has flowed through the school.
Pvsps response to the covid shut down was good, adopting online platforms like Microsoft teams to ensure the students could continue to socialise and learn with their peers.
The buildings have almost all been replaced in the last 10 years and there are large outdoor gathering and sports fields.
Thoroughly recommend if you’re in the area checking this out as an option and taking a school tour
I’m a former student, and it was pretty good there last year, the teachers were nice, we had a great school, but my classmates kind of ruined the social aspect, they were jerks. But anyway, the education we got was brilliant, so if you have kids who need an education, send them here.
I have two boys at PVSPS and we are very happy with the school. It is a smaller school with a great sense of community. The teachers are dedicated and engaging, my kids genuinely love going to school every day. New leadership has brought lots of new initiatives and life to the school, and they are always open to new ideas (or just up for a chat ). Recent upgrades to buildings and landscaping have been great for the kids and really modernised the school.
We’ve been at PVSPS for 7 years and have seen lots of wonderful changes each year, especially in 2020. The parents/carers are well connected, really welcoming and have a strong sense of community. The teacher here are great! A brand new management team started in 2020 and they have been amazing with supporting staff, students and families to thrive. My kids are so happy that their voices are heard – PVSPS has reintroduced junior school council and House Spirits teams! There are so many beautiful adventure playground areas for the kids to enjoy and a huge range of lunchtime clubs (gardening, craft, dancing, rock band and heaps more because they’re always different depending on what the kids want to do). The school council is also really active and engaged to help deliver the best outcomes for our kids.
