For the good of your special needs kid and for your mental health please don’t bring them to this school. They don’t have special education teacher and they don’t care, the also don’t have the enough and appropriate staffing to care for the kids how as it is supposed to be. The special education program is a total disaster. I had to take my son out of this school before the school year ended because I couldn’t stand so many unpleasant and unfortunate situations any more.

This school is very bad, be very careful!

I have been fighting with this people all this school year defending my special needs son’s rights, because they did neglect and another violations in relation to my son’s IEP and the Special Education General guidelines. My son didn’t show progress in some goals and they were just judging him and that is not fair because all this is only their fault. The principal doesn’t care at all and let her employees do whatever they want ..and the district school just covers up the mistakes and pretends nothing happen. They really desert 0 starts .I will try to see if I can move and look for a better quality of education and human sense.

To be honest, my experience has not been the best so far… My son with special needs was transferred to this school recently, I don’t know, but the truth is that I still don’t feel completely happy and convinced with the way some work in this place . I feel like they are running all the time, communication with parents is not the best and I get the impression that some others only work for pay in a job where there are children and the vocation and love in what is done is what First of all, what should be taken into account. there are definitely things that don’t work well there , If this continues like this, I will take action in the near future.

My kids had been in this school for 5 years now and I’m very happy about the principal and they standards. The teachers are very sweet and my son has adhd they have always treated hum with respect and helped him in his process. My old son graduated from there and now is in east side high school. And never had a problem.
That’s my old school it’s sucks if you in the 8th grade come to Eastside high school
