The students doesn’t seem happy. They’re constantly complaining about the school, saying that it’s too expensive. They say the school doesn’t offer them supplies so they have to struggle and buy shampoo, conditioner and whatever else they need to do hair. I got my hair shampoo there and when I got home I thought it was still dirty. I called back to let them know and all they want to say is is no refunds. One instructor made it seem like it was something wrong with my scalp. There’s nothing wrong with my scalp I wash my hair as well as everybody else have washed my hair and it is still not look dirty and flaky after a shampoo. The second time I gave him another chance and address that issue and the same thing happened and I found out it’s because they’re using a pea size amount of shampoo because the students are trying to save the shampoo so they won’t have to pay for more shampoo! My hair can’t get washed without an adequate amount of shampoo! Just because I’m paying a small discount doesn’t mean they have to cut back supplies. The instructors don’t care about complaints. I heard how they handled one woman’s complaint when I was sitting there. Old instructor did was come to the student and said that the woman wasn’t happy and let her go somewhere else and they both laughed. So they don’t take anything anyone say seriously. No customer service! No such thing as a customer is right. I work in customer service. But I have to be talked to like a child and denied something that I am asking for. They call me like they want to resolve something but it only has to be on THEIR terms. It’s a waste of my time. I do not want them messing with my hair ever again! I will follow up with other ways to get my issue resolved. I tried to speak with everybody else, other than the owner because she does not return my calls. Everyone else I talk to patronizes me. It’s insulting and I will not have it. I only put this review up because this company doesn’t wants to do right.
This isn’t my go to place, but because it was very last minute, I decided to try them out and was so disappointed. I asked for a sleek ponytail, something very simple, right? No. Well, the student, put so much product in my hair, my hair was greasy, oily and heavy. Then she flat ironed it and never laid it down properly. She had some black strips that wouldn’t work, so she gave up. Then she didn’t know how to braid the ponytail so another student had to help her. I’m natural and get this style done all the time without any issues. So, i paid $65 for this mess that didn’t last a day. Walked in on a Saturday, hair looking a mess on a Monday. Because the hair was not secured or sleeked back properly nor was the braid secured it looked a mess. The braiding hair used to wrap around the ponytail wasn’t even secured properly and it was unraveling. My natural hair could be seen within the braid unraveling. And the actual braid slipped right off. That’s unacceptable. I understand they are students so I gave some grace and made a call to the school. I was told by Ms. Brandi and that she would speak to the owner, but that was on Tuesday and no one ever called me back. Bad business. The prices don’t match the services provided. This isn’t my first time having this style but don’t assign it to students who can’t do it because I just wasted money and time. I’m disgusted and disappointed. My first time and last time.
After asking numerous times over the phone and when I got there were they able to complete the service I wanted a simple wash and rod set..constantly getting told yes.. Disappointed not even then word.. I’m infuriated I decided to have a self care day after taking my braids out.. this is how I walked out when I was finally able to see my hair outside of the establishment it’s so much product sooooo much I paid $40 just for me to have to do my hair myself anyway smh and the supervisors or owners whoever they were helped with my hair constantly saying “it looks good” I’m really sad I had plans that are now canceled I sat 4 hours for nothing this was an unnecessary and ineffective
