My daughter has been a new student coming in as a junior at this campus and honestly it’s been horrible. Registration was extremely disorganized with me having to call back multiple times to get all the correct information and the communications from the teachers (and my daughter is in AP classes) has definitely been what I would consider subpar. They put links on their websites for materials for class that do not work and do not take anytime to familiarize or talk parents through any of the systems that they use nor do they mention the option of extra credit (if you don’t stumble upon it yourself) until after due dates have already past. I just pray that my daughter makes it out of this high school as honestly it’s been a true nightmare! My word of advice don’t trust that what you learn at parent teacher conference is even the tip of the iceberg and I would recommend setting up a monthly conference with each of your child’s teachers—I know quite a bit of work but trust me the teachers don’t come to you until it’s waaaaaay to late. On top of all this my daughter has also experience bullying and 2 different girls threatening to beat her up at school with of course no communication of this from her teachers or administration although they are aware of the issue. Welcome to PHS!

Called a head of time to confirm I could eat lunch with my little brother lady on the phone said yes that’s be fine just bring my ID.drove an hour to come eat lunch with him and bought him chic fil a only to arrive so they could tell me only parents can eat with students and when I tried to leave the food they said I couldn’t leave it. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of my time. especially because I called ahead to ask. I’m on his emergency contacts so I could pull him out of school but I can’t sit down and have lunch with him or at the very least leave him the food I bought for him

Don’t reallt have anything bad to say about the school just that Mr. Berger was the ABSOLUTE best principal EVER. The school was safe, pretty fun and laid back BUT I was constantly harassed by the new principal about my piercings which is part of the pacific culture. There was FAR more things to worry about, like all the student suicides at the time and the fact female students were allowed to walk around HALF clothed but I’m punished for my piercings?? ://
