Excellent faculty, leadership, and communication. When public schools shut down in March 2020, we knew we needed a better option. My student spent pre-K through 9th grade in York County schools, so we knew expecting him to change schools in 10th grade may be challenging. PC did everything possible to welcome our family, ensure our student was set up for success, and facilitated a very smooth transition. With a full semester behind us, there’s no looking back. Our student is THRIVING, settled in, playing sports, and likes it. We are quite pleased with the quality of the education. PCHS did the tough work and planning needed to keep the doors open, and sports/clubs going, through a pandemic. Caring leadership and a high-quality education that we couldn’t find- even in the “best” of public schools- are definitely the benefits. Our only regret is not making this move earlier, when eligible for admission in 8th grade.
PCHS is an amazing school – caring teachers and staff; family friendly; strong academics; considerate and conscientious student body; and a faith-filled environment. Peninsula Catholic High School is excellent all the way around.
