If I could give a one star review to the school I would. Not only did they lie to me about what classes I had to take and when I had to take the classes. But also they gave away my personal information. I received a letter in the mail saying that they were sorry for releasing my personal information and that was it. The fact of the matter that my personal information was released to the public was absolutely a horror to hear. It is crazy to me that they sent an apology letter and no other attempt for contact. This head should have been a direct call to me as soon as it happened or as soon as they found out. I am not the only one this has happened to. There are multiple students that had their personal information giving out. I would not recommend the school to anyone. They’re terrible at communication. Even the veteran assistance was absolutely deplorable. This is literally the worst school I’ve ever been to. I was promised that I was going to graduate with an associate’s degree and all I needed to do, was take one more class. The instructor then told me that no I needed to take more classes. She had told me that I didn’t need to take months ago and now I need to take them. The absolute horrid communication that goes on in this school is absolutely deplorable and the person that gave away my personal information should be fired.
I have been a student here since 2017 and I have had maybe two quarters here where the financial aid office hasnt messed up my aid in some form. This has made me have to drop classes certain quarters and ultimately has put me behind being able to apply to my desired program. I am considering switching schools just because the hassle I go through each quarter trying to receive the grants I have been awarded. It is also nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone in the office, and when you do none of them have solid answers for you. I have even reached out and left a message with one of the financial aid supervisors nearly a week and a half ago and still havent received a call back.
Please remove college success classes 110 and 115 because they do not set students up for success but only set them up for failure. Both of those classes are not only extremely subjective, but they are extremely filled with deception and lies. Success is a subjective word, both of those classes are filled with falsified information that are made up & deceived by instructors. I can’t believe that these classes are nothing but just lies. Both of those classes are all about what educational officals think success is or should be, both of those classes are NOT OBJECTIVE.
