It is like going to school in a prison. Once you go into the lunch room, you can not leave for any reason. You also cannot spend lunch time in the library or computer labs to work on homework. Visitors are not allowed apparently. My friends go here and I am not allowed to eat lunch with them, even though I went to school there for three years. Can’t use the bathroom during class or lunch, no exceptions. Even if you have a bathroom pass they will question your whereabouts. A faculty member is always wondering the halls like a correctional officer. Even if you are 18 you can’t leave campus for any reason without parents consent. Pine Creek High School will most likely be one of those schools that gets metal detectors for entry of the school because they are incapable of figuring things out themselves. The security guards are pretty much useless. They sit and watch security cameras all day and direct traffic in the morning, and that is it. The teachers are great if you can handle the work load and prison style environment.
The class selection and teachers are pretty good. The athletics are a joke other than the football team which is really the only thing the schools got to brag about (but not so much after that playoff loss to loveland…) All of the other sports are so fundamentally terrible and clique based its laughable. Ever since they got rid of seminar (kind of like homeroom) its been impossible for clubs to meet, so if you want friends and you aren’t “cool” or good looking then you’re screwed. The staff is way too lenient as far as bullying, they like to point fingers at the victims and go all hush hush about crap so that they don’t get bad publicity or whatever. Yep.
